About
The Team
Juan Nel | Owner & Coach
Born 30 March 1991. Graduated from Brackenfell High in 2009. Sport played a big part in his life, and this sparked his love for fitness. With his rugby history, he learned the value of teamwork and discipline, where most of his confidence originated. He Studied Management and Project Management at CPUT and a TriFocus personal training course while working for the previous owner of ForeverStrong Brackenfell.
“I have fallen in love with my work, and I loved my job. I loved the fact that I am helping people become a better person, mostly inside, but outside. I love the fact that I can motivate and encourage people to live a healthier life. To learn them the tools on a healthy lifestyle and just build their confidence to a whole new level. Man, I had an AWESOME job.”
He has always thanked God for our creator for all his blessings and putting him in the fortunate position to now be the owner of ForeverStrong Brackenfell. He believes the success of his branch comes from the two RR’s: Relationship and Results. This is where the FAMILY culture originated.
Don’t be afraid to say “hi!” to this always smiling guy. He will always make time for you but don’t slack on the mat as he will easily add a 400m jog to the finisher.

Esjee Fourie | Manager & coach
Born 23 May 1993 – Graduated from Belville high in 2011, but the majority of his high school career was at Paar Boy’s High. With rugby and athletics as his sports favourites. As a yang adult, he soon fell involve with fitness and training and slowly build up his “garage gym”. Fitness helped him cope with anxiety, and so a new chapter in his life started. He went to study fitness at ETA in Stellenbosch and whilst he was studying he worked part-time for a supplement company as a sales consultant. After his studies, he worked at Virgin Active and soon after joined the FSPT family.
He recently started pursuing his second passion for Foreign Exchange Markets more permanently.
“Fitness will always be my first passion because it has taught me so much about life itself. I’ve learned that without “resistance” in a workout, whether it’s weight training, stretching or whatever if you don’t push yourself (alongside proper nutrition), your body will struggle a lot to make any progress. I apply that to life as well, because all of the hardships or whatever resistance we face, if we stay focused and do our part, that resistance will soon become our new base of support level”.
He will encourage you to push harder, and before you know it, a new (heavier) weight will be in front of you.
Dylan Rodney | Coach
Born 8 March 1999- Matriculated in 2017.
Dylan wasn’t always as bulky and physically fit. Unfortunately, he decided to improve his is appearance and started his fitness career due to being bullied in school. With his newfound passion, he thrown himself in the deep and soon started swimming or should we say gaining.
He worked at Virgin Active, and during his time there he did a Nutritional Advisor course and did his fitness course through TriFocus Academy.
He enjoys the bodybuilding type of training as this fits his fitness goals best.
His life motto: “If you Mentally believe you can do it, your body will physically find a way to do it.”
We call him Mr Structure as he will not put a foot out of place and everything gets done by the book. He is a drill Sargeant in the class but a softy at heart.
Daniël Erasmus | Coach
Born 11 July 1997 – Graduated from Bellville High in 2015. He always had a love for sports and played cricket and then once he outgrew this (literally) rugby had his heart. From an early age, he joined the gym and soon his passion for training developed. He had a talent for tug of war and most of his discipline and sports values seeded from this. He also has a love for lifting heavy weights, and we mean HEAVY weights. He currently holds two SA records, 170kg for bench press and 270kg for the deadlift.
As for experience and after school education, he studied at Trifocus Fitness academy, did an online course in nutritional and injury prevention through Shaw Academy. He worked at Zone Fitness, Go health club, On the Carnival Cruises and RSD (Rugby Skills Development) before joining the FSPT team.
